Wendy Songe ~ Award winning singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, poet, performer, teacher & Nationally touring musician.

Wendy Songe, endorsing artist for Folkcraft Instruments, is a highly sought after instructor and performer, and a popular sight at music festivals and community events across the USA.

Wendy is the 2018 National Mtn. Dulcimer Champion, 2012 Texas State Mtn. Dulcimer Champion, and 2012 Southern Regional Mtn. Dulcimer Champion. In October 2018, Wendy was awarded the SDC Branson, MO “Dream Big, Do Good Community Action Hero” award, and was named “Tulsa People” by Tulsa People Magazine, February 2019, for her accomplishments in music and her numerous contributions to the community through her music outreach programs for veterans, seniors, disadvantaged children, and people with disabilities.

When she isn’t traveling with her music, Wendy teaches piano, guitar, ukulele and Mtn. Dulcimer at the Zomac School of Music Wendy is also passionate about her special community-building projects, ‘The Sisterhood of Song Women’s Retreat’ and ‘Mobile Outreach Music Missions’.

Wendy’s eclectic musical style and diverse genres emcompass the piano, guitar, ukulele, Bodhran, voice and mountain dulcimer, and is frequently featured in magazines, podcasts, radio and television broadcasts.  

Wendy has released two solo albums to date, 2015 ‘Test Drive’ and 2016 ‘DRIVEN’. Her discography also includes collaborations with The Vintage Wildflowers- 2014 ‘In Full Bloom’, Bing Futch- 2013 ‘The RV Project’, and Dr. Jonathan Dowell- 2012 ‘Celtic Christmas Showdown’ CD.
